About Me

Hi and welcome to Turtley Loving Teaching!   My name is Amy Frank and I am a Innovation Coach (iCoach) aka Technology Integration Specialist.  Back in 2006, I graduated from Illinois State University and accepted a position teaching 4th grade.  I stayed in that spot for two years before I decided that it was time to look for something closer to home.  That landed me in my current school district in which I've had the pleasure of teaching in 3rd (2 years), 4th (2 years), 4th/5th multi-age (2 years) and now I'm onto my 9th year of teaching!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time being active and taking time to relax with family and friends.  I love embarking on adventures with "my other half", Nicholas.  We've been together forever and each new day brings more excitement and memories to cherish!  This past summer, I traveled to Florida for some rest and relaxation under the palm trees (another one of my loves).  I also went on my first cruise to the Western Carribean: Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Grand Cayman Islands!  What an adventure that I'll never forget!  I'm a huge fan of turtles (if you haven't guessed already) and just recently found out that they're a sign of good luck!  :)

There you have it!  That's a little bit about me!
